1917 -- AGS Archives

   The AGS joins the "Inquiry" at the Paris Peace Conference.

  On January 25, 1915, the inventor of the telephone, Alexander Graham Bell, inaugurated transcontinental telephone service in the U.S. with a call made between New York City and San Francisco, which was answered by Dr. Watson, his longtime assistant.
