  Argentina's first lady, Evita Peron, died in Buenos Aires on July 26, 1952, at age 33.
  Hurricane, the first British atomic bomb was tested at Monte Bello, Australia, on October 3, 1952. Britain became the third country in the world to test such a weapon.
