ABSTRACTS AND INDEX FOR THE GEOGRAPHICAL REVIEW

The Geographical Review is fully abstracted and indexed from 1990 to the present using EBSCO databases ! Most university and public libraries subscribe to EBSCO databases. Contact your nearest library for information. Currently twelve years of text and abstracts, from Volume 80 (1990) through to Volume 91 (2001) are available online. You can search by author, keyword, and by different kinds of materials: book reviews, record notes, and articles. The bibliographies can be printed on your local printers.
Eventually, the entire body (86 years) of Geographical Review materials will be searchable using the JSTOR databases (Journal Storage). With bibliographic citations in hand, users can also find the products of their search in libraries, or for those with limited library or interlibrary loan resources, or for users from the non-academic community, it should be possible to request copies (on a limited basis) from the American Geographical Society, which on an item-by-item basis can photocopy and mail (or fax) the relevant essays, for a fee.
This website's own search engine can locate keywords within the Geographical Review abstracts and titles pages. Just enter your search parameters below.
