VOYAGES TO THE GREAT LAKES AND THE ST LAWRENCE SEAWAY
August 18 - August 25, 2012 (8 days)
If you are looking for a voyage to a world-class destination, but wish to stay close to home, join American Geographical Society lecturer Frederick Nelson on this summertime voyage to discover for yourself the amazing Great Lakes and some of North America’s most historic and vibrant cities.
Operating between two great North American cities, Chicago and Quebec City, you are welcome to register for the entire voyage, OR you may sign up for either Part One or Part Two. Part One embarks in Chicago, IL, and disembarks in Detroit, MI;
while Part Two begins in Detroit and concludes in Quebec City.

CIRCUMNAVIGATION OF THE BLACK SEA
September 22 - October 6, 2012 (15 days)
This expedition will introduce you to the cultural and natural history of the six countries that ring the legendary Black Sea—Turkey, Georgia, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, and Bulgaria. These lands possess long and storied histories, from ancient Greek colonists to 20th century politics and beyond, while remnants of vanished civilizations survive alongside vibrant contemporary cultures.
It also features beautiful landscapes, from scenic mountain ranges to wetlands teeming with wildlife. Join American Geographical Society lecturer and geographer Dorothy Drummond to witness for yourself these cultural and natural wonders in the comfort and elegance of the 64-cabin Clipper Odyssey.
